Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 70%Sativa 30%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About God Lights

Two Canadian legends combined; the pure God Bud hailing from Vancouver Island as well as the Vancouver Island acclimated Northern Lights IBL from Peak SeedsBC!! The God Bud is an incredibly pungent plant; the de-seeders call it "the cat piss plant". It grows small and stays small, but its odour and potency have kept it a staple for decades for myself. This was combined with the much heavier yielding Northern Lights IBL, turning the small popcorn nugs of the God Bud into baseball bats of pure dankness. Easy to grow, easy to harvest, and minimal defoliation required
