Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Gorgonzola Truffle
This was a joint effort that was nearly a failed pollination. I was pretty new to using pollen that wasn’t being made by a male in my room or on my farm. Terp Fiend sent me pollen from his prized Blackout Truffle male and I pollinated Exodus Cheese that I grew from seeds from Greenhouse seed co. It made very few seeds which are currently being worked back to Blackout Truffle F2 and the few feminized seeds that I have remaining from that original pack of exodus cheese.
