Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Gorilla Blues
Many moon’s ago, We made one of our first crosses ever. The two selected strains were Alien Blues （Laplata Labs） and Skunk #1 （Sensi Seeds）. After finding a promising Skunk #1 male, we bred it to our cut of Alien Blues. The cross was done to preserve the genetics more than anything, as back then seeds were very hard to come buy in our homeland. Fast forward over half a decade later, and we’ve gone through these beans to find a male to use in new projects. One of the first cuts we pollinated being a Double Tap （Solfire Gardens） female that ticked all the proverbial boxes. Gorilla Blues tends to show traits from the GG4 and Skunk with nuances coming through from the Cookies/Alien Blues depending on which phenotypes you find. We’ve found a very special “vomit” phenotype, which smells exactly how it’s been named. Pure skunky, rotten fruit, vomit with insane foxtailing. The buds remain dense. 70-77 days is the perfect time to give these beans. Proceed with caution, this strain tends to hit like a truck that keeps on hitting
