Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 30%Sativa 70%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Grape Slushie

Type: Sativa Flower Time: 7-8 weeks Yield: Good Potency: Very Potent Genetics: Burmese x (Burmese x Sour Diesel) Seed Type: Regular I was gifted a Burmese Landrace that had been worked by a private breeder to shorten flower time and bring out maximum frost and terpenes. When flowered, it was dripping with crystals and the smell overpowered almost anything else in the garden with a unique sweet red wine smell. It has a taste that makes you want to keep smoking it just for the taste. After the Sour Diesel had been worked into the genetics, it gave Grape Slushie a delicious loud smell and taste of concord grape
