Type I
THC-dominant
Terpene profile most dominant first
Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). The dominant terpenes below are aggregated from community and lab reporting; aroma and effect associations are preliminary and not medical claims. Lab-verified COA profiles roll out as Areto’s data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Grape Smuggler
The Grape Ape was one of the most notorious and widespread cuttings during the pinnacle time period of the Oakland "Purp" Craze. And with good reason, the grape ape made her rounds. A robust, thick stemmed, well branched plant with very long leaf petioles and wide indica like fan leaves. The buds turn a dark purple color, especially with cold temperatures and heavy nutrient flushing. Cross with the Face Off OG, the "Smuggler" as we like to call it has that classic "grape" smell and flavor while adding a whole new spectrum of dank funk to the mix, sure to please the real heads that want a new take on the classic winning formula. So dank people will be begging for you to bring them a bag of those smuggled grapes. Lineage: Grape Ape x Face Off OG bx1
Yield: Average
Ratio: 80/20
