Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). GREEN AFGHAN landrace IBL This cultivar dates back decades. A pure AFGHAN landrace strain direct from Afghanistan. This strain starts out with a strong phenol aroma. As the flowering phase starts some plants may change color. The aroma will start to morph. It gets a very earthy smell to it. One has to remember that these are authentic landraces. People from that part of the world open pollinate and look for plants with lots of trichomes because they are making hash. Stability within a strain is not 100% possible due to how they breed and grow so you will find a variety of pheno expressions within these seeds. Some may finish green some may turn red.
