Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 70%Sativa 30%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Gryphon
Gryphon is our 1988 Ghash mother crossed to a lemon thai male from EGSC, The G-13 Hash plant mother has been a mainstay for us, great structure and powerful stone. Gryphon maintains that structure, the Lemon thai male adds some vigor and a powerful sativa stone. The male Lemon thai is from Dutchflowers via EGSC, it has a Hawaiian heritage. The smoke is like Lemon Larry with a diesel kick, very strong and balanced stone. Easy to grow and clone. Gryphon is an all around plant, very easy to grow Scrog style when you don't have enough heights to grow trees. She responds well to any type of culture, we mostly grow soil using organics and encourage you to do the same in a effort to bring the best aroma to your meds
