Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 70%Sativa 30%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Guard Dawg F3
The Guard Dawg has been a long standing project of mine for several years, but this is my first attempt at producing this line in feminized seed form. The plants in this population are mostly homogonous with two main expressions, both will be bushy with good lateral branch growth. Guard Dawg can be easy to grow and is recommended for beginner growers outdoors or in a greenhouse as it is hearty and forgiving. Indoors it can have some issues with small container gardens or poorly ventilated spaces. When flowered these plants can show a variety of colors in their foliage ranging from green to dark purple to even red or grey. The aroma is mostly uniform with dominant tones of skunk, rubber and shoe polish
