Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the lab-verifiable signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). Cannabinoid type is set largely by a single gene (the THC:CBD ratio); about 96% of commercial flower is Type I, THC-dominant. Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Guerrilla Norte x Blueberry Muffin
Variedad feminizada creada por Awka Semillas ®, resultante del cruce de Guerrilla Norte F2 con el fenotipo número 3 de la Blueberry Muffin selección del año 2019, escogida por su fuerte sabor y olor a frutilla y frutos rojos. Desde el año 2018 venimos trabajando una variedad que fuese apta para todo tipo de cultivo, resistente ante plagas, con rápido crecimiento, de buena estructura y alta producción. Esa variedad la llamamos Guerrilla Norte, por sus excelentes cualidades para cultivo en guerrilla. Es una variedad muy vigorosa, de tallos gruesos, con cogollos centrales muy definidos, cargados de resina y de una producción brutal, hemos visto fenotipos de esta genética que parecen arboles en exterior y producciones XXL en interior. En Awka Semillas nos propusimos mejorarla y encontrar una variedad que fuese igual o mas productiva, pero que tuviese un periodo de floración mas corto （Guerrilla Norte tiene un periodo de floración de entre 70 a 75 días desde el cambio de fotoperiodo）. Fue así que encontramos un fenotipo de Guerrilla Norte en la filial 2, que tenia todo lo que buscábamos: buena producción, sabor cítrico/piña, colas de zorro muy compactas, alta producción y una floración
