When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About HashBar OG
In the early days of indoor cannabis farming, technology like carbon filters for growing was very limited or non-existant to your average farmer.
