Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Pheno 1: “Mt. Frostberry pheno” literally the flowers on this lady are wrapped in a resin blanket. This was also the largest plant, grew tall, topped twice but still huge stretch! The frost production was something else, and although the buds were smaller, they were completely purpled or heavily speckled. In addition the buds are rock solid, and she grew a lot of them. More than expected, extra training could turn this girl into a spiderweb beast. Smells on her were berry tones amid a hashy spice smell. Smoke quality was off the charts, super smooth hashy, earthy, berry filled goodness. Also, if not the most potent pheno, sure to leave even the “heads” with a smile. Very euphoric and great medicine.
