Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 70%Sativa 30%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Hashmaster

Short compact kush plants that are outstanding resin producers of the highest order. Dense, rich and sticky flowers combined with classic kush and hashy aromas can be expected. A hash makers delight. A nice low stretch plant for those with limited space. As with any f1 hybrid, variation can be expected. We incorporated a very special male to meld into our indica collection to keep stability amongst our f1 hybrids. Single dominant cola style or as a large bush will suit the grower depending on space and style
