Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). This time the breed was not an accident, the goal was to level up the mom, Rosa Hasi, to give her more punch, get the cest of haze back in, and oh boy, the plant delievers.
Tangie, but not Tangie, more like Aperol with acidity stinging your nose and packed with a punch you can smell right across the room. First appearance in public made it a cupwinner at The HighCastle 26 in Sativa (1st) and Extract (2nd).
