Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Sativa 100%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Hawk
Hawk is our flagship pure sativa cultivar. The genetic lineage is: Willie Nelson (Vietnamese Black x Nepalese Highland) x Destroyer (Mexican/Colombian x Meao Thai). We took our favorite Nepalese hashplant leaning Willie Nelson (from Reeferman) and crossed it with our favorite Thai leaning Destroyer. With a soaring and uplifting effect, it is also a great breeding tool for other crosses
