Chemotype
Type I
THC-dominant
Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the lab-verifiable signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). Cannabinoid type is set largely by a single gene (the THC:CBD ratio); about 96% of commercial flower is Type I, THC-dominant. Terpene profiles are sourced from Certificates of Analysis (COA) and roll out as Areto’s lab-verified data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Haze C x Panama
This 100% sativa F1 hybrid combines a Haze C Thai-dominant female clone from SSSC, donated by Karel, with a green Panama F11 male, resulting in a fully lemony Haze/Panama sativa hybrid. Its phenotype shows no appreciable NL #5 indica influence, offering a pure, citrus-forward aroma and potent, uplifting effects.
The hybrid is similar to our Panama Haze and Thai x Panama F1 crosses but faster, more productive, and more potent, with stronger and more consistent lemony terpenes. Expect powerful, euphoric, dreamy, and expansive effects with high vibrations and long-lasting intensity. Key Features:
