Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). I wanted to see what would happen when I crossed two strains that are at opposite ends of the flavor spectrum. The results are impressive! This hybrid creates tropical-funk flavored spears that smell like strawberry banana candy and look like they have been dipped in sugar! This plant is known to grow quickly in veg and double it's height in flower so be prepared. She likes to branch out if given root space. Heart Of Gold finishes in 60-70 days.
