Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 100%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Herat - Karokh

This pure Indica comes from the Siahvashan district in the province of Herat, from this area comes this pure Indica, which smells of sweet berries, at the same time somewhat oily, and is very strong and totally fresh. Herat aka Karokh is easy to grow, it loves hot and dry climates, as the original growing area itself in Afghanistan is very hot and dry. There is always some wind in this area, so a windy spot is also recommended because the plants then grow very vigorously - the stems are so thick and hard that they can easily support four times their own weight
