Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 30%Sativa 70%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Himalayan Blu

Using a pure Himalayan sativa crossing her to my Blue Master male that was tested out over a year. Made some very vigorous plants. Very terpy!!!!! Smells of citrus, pine, Sandler wood hash, Pungent tropical fruit punch, and many more complex combos. These aren't short season plants. The like to grow and it takes 14+ wks for most phenos. The Himalayan phenos have a leggy build with some spacing between nodes. Blue master phenos will have close stacked nodes and a more sturdy build vs the vine like phenos that lean more to the landrace side
