Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 50%Sativa 50%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Hope of Israel

A classic pheno we found back in the old days of prohibition basement grows behind enemy lines. A BIG yielding Critical Mass x Blue Widow F1 that has the most wonderful floral terpene profile. No sweet or fruit, no gas or skunk, just lavender, rose, lilac, patchouli and potpourri type smells. A slightly heavier hybrid, but still not horribly munchies inducing or couch-locking, you'll just be slowed down a little as you count your blessings and appreciate how good everything feels haha. Named for the wonderful hopeful and inspiring mental high she provides, she brings a good amount of pain relief and muscle relaxation as well. She has an uncanny tendency to make people feel gratitude and love, and as such works very well as an aphrodisiac strain. The perfect bud to smoke at the end of a long day with loved ones
