Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About (HTC DC x Skunk) x Deep Chunk
In this cross we used a female selected from a handful of seeds from Hill Temple Collective's Deep Chunk x a Skunk, a gift from Demian, a friend and renowned local grower. The Deep Chunk #17 male used was one of the latest to begin flowering and at the same time was the male with the largest male flowers of all, the amount of pollen produced was abundant throughout its cycle. This male provided structure, vigor and flowering speed. We estimate that the combination of the different deep chunks will reinforce these characters without losing the Old School aroma and flavor that the mother brought with her
