Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 70%Sativa 30%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Hurricane Hanna

Hurricane Hanna marries our beloved Baba Looey mom to the coveted 'daddy sweet-dick', mutant Space Ghost male. She grows tall and bushy, and does not need much encouragement to produce many flowering tops. She is is aggressive in her sometimes unusual growth pattern, therefore shaping is preferred to pruning. Stretch during blossoming is average and support of branches may be necessary due to the weight of her blossoms. Her bouquet is of a sweet, wine/musk with sharp citrus undertones. Fully blossomed in 9-10 weeks with an above average yield. Flavored of candy/citrus/wine
