Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 70%Sativa 30%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Imperialism II

The Kandahar Black mother selected by @high.anxiey.wa wasn't an extreme yielded but she had the telltale deep green foliage and extensive resin coverage. The father had some nice defined purple stripes on the flower and a nice dense structure. The result is a short highly resinous dark leaf plant with that smells of fig and anise to grapes and chai. Lineage: Kandahar Black (Bhodi 2019 limited drop) x Royal Kush f12
