Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). While cleaning out one of our seed fridges I found a plastic container holding these two strains which were grown in the late 90's. I did a germination test and got 100% germination. We were taught how to store our seeds from Skunkman Sam and these techniques and his incredible breeding and seed production created these excellent seeds/genetics. If you are looking for the original Skunk #1 genetics, which leans Indica, then the Import Afghani is the one for you. If you are interested in the original Skunk#1 genetics which leans Sativa then the WW x Thai Haze x Skunk #1 is for you. 10
