When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The cross between the autoflowering and the photoperiod-dependent strains originates a photoperiod-dependent genetic that shortens the flowering time by one week when compared with the original version of Jack 47®. This is a very powerful strain that produces exceptionally vigorous plants with thick buds that get fully covered by abundant resin during flowering.
