Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). The dominant terpenes below are aggregated from community and lab reporting; aroma and effect associations are preliminary and not medical claims. Lab-verified COA profiles roll out as Areto’s data comes online.

Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 30%Sativa 70%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Jack Skellington

Twelve years ago I ran Killer Queen and kept the Cindy Dominant female and I have looked for over a decade for the G-13 phenotype. Once we found this heavy resin producer we crossed it with our Jack the Ripper to combine the citrus taste with the ultimate resin producing plant. Extracts made from these resins appear almost white. Not for the occasional smoker! Phenotypes: Slight variation and heavy resin production Height: Tall and wide, we suggest topping for better yields Yield: Medium flowers, copious amounts of resin. Indoor and Outdoor Best way to grow: Perfect for SOG but top for height control Harvest: 8 weeks Sat/Ind: 70/30 Hybrid: Killer Queen G-13 Dom x Jack The Ripper Cindy 99 x G-13 High Type: Intense and strong mind numbing potency, instant euphoria and mental clarity, introspective and creative even through the mental confusion that comes with the potency. Taste: Limes, astringent, fruity, slight Haze influence and the unmistakable G-13 flavor
