Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Jack Straw

A cross of Touch of Grey and Jack The Ripper created this potent and well yielding Sativa strain. There are four main phenotypes, including a Jack The Ripper dominant variant that is tall and stretchy, a Touch Of Grey dominant variant that is short and stocky. Two slightly differing aromas are also likely, one that resembles lemon haze and another more like straight sweet haze. The effects are very relaxing providing a good pain relief.
