Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 30%Sativa 70%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Jack

Jack is our version of the three way hybrid between Northern Lights #5, Skunk #1 and pure Haze that won the 1995 Cannabis cup. Renowned for its uplifting high and good yield, Jack is an excellent strain for Sativa/Haze lovers who want a bit quicker finish than Blaze, Electric Haze or Maui Mist. Very solid bud structure for a sativa combined with that typical sweet and sour Haze aroma. Flowering Time: 55-65 days Height at maturity: 4-6 feet Yield: up to 125 grams Heritage: (Haze x N.L.#5) x Skunk#1 (F-1 hybrid x IBL)
