Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 30%Sativa 70%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Jango Miche

Jango Miche is a pairing of two wonderful heirlooms. Working with a cutting of Mango Biche (female) she was paired with a Jalalabad Afghan (male). The Mango Biche had a 20 week flower cycle but incredible effects. In an effort to lower the flowering times it was paired with a quick flowering male. Most phenos exhibit medium to narrow leaves with strong branching. Expect unique and cerebral effects and strong aromas of earth, pepper, and gas
