Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). In collaboration with Reggae Seeds. The original Juanita clone contains 8.8 CBD and 6.7 THC. In this work of crossing and selection by Élite seeds, we have managed to achieve and verify that all plants produced from our Juanita strain have cannabinoid content.
