When they are seedlings they maintain this thick stem and leaves with wide leaflets. Most of the leaves have 3 to 5 dark green leaflets and in flowering some turn black and dark purple, others reddish. The vegetative stage is between 7 to 8 weeks. Kandahar purple grows from 90 cm to 150 cm with a structure that has abundant colas full of flowers and others in the form of a tower, characterizing in them the quantity and quality of resin. The flowering stage goes from 55 days to 60 days. Very resistant to pests and diseases. Abundant resin and wide calyxes.
