Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 70%Sativa 30%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About KEMO

KEMO is specifically designed for the heavy smoker with a high tolerance. The KEMO is an incredibly potent smoke and often tests above 33% THC with an intense couch-lock high. The goal of this project was to shorten the flowering time needed for GMO (90+ Days) and to add some more funk to the terpene profile. We accomplished both goals and the KEMO is an absolute winner. She has a much more compact bud structure with the same frost and chemmy halitosis terps from the GMO. She is a dream for extract, specifically full melt and rosin but performs equally well with solvent-based extractions
