Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Laotian OG is a cross between the landrace Laotian and OGLA 78, a blend that has resulted in a unique cannabis strain. Laotian OG impresses with deliciously sweet, earthy flavours of incense, combined with fuel, Haze, spices and sweet musk. It is a mostly Sativa that has a surprisingly compact structure in the grow, it is also very easy to grow and very resistant to mould - so you can grow it not only indoors, but also very successfully outdoors.
