Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Lavender Lime
Lavender Lime....what a strain. The lovechild of Soma's Lavender and Tahiti Lime. This variety was made in 2024 as a part of a collaboration project with Chef Jeff and Cannabeans Genetics. When we were planning this outcross, we wanted something that would have excellent branching, plentiful flower set, and dense flowers without posing a risk for mold. We were certainly blessed to find that Lavender Lime performs exactly like that. Luckily, we had an easy gamble, as both the Lavender and Tahiti Lime had excellent structure and flower set. It retains all of the floral notes and skunk dominance from the Lavender, while perfectly pairing with the sharp lime up front. Extremely medicinal feeling and a long-lasting high that you don't find as easily in today's modern polyhybrids. Expect great flower set and a solid crop yield even without supplemental CO2
