Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 70%Sativa 30%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Lavender Queen

Our Lavender mother creates some of the finest purple ganja we have been blessed to smok. Side by side with our Purple Urkle in her attributes, Lavender tempts and satisfies even the biggest of pot snobs. This cross was a no brainer for us as anything we have created using our Lavender mother has surpassed expectations. Lavenders only drawback is her rather lengthy flowering time of 63-70 days, and by using our Purple Dicks pheno Space Queen male, we have been able to shorten flowering times considerably. Yet another strain to behold for the true "pot snob"
