Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the lab-verifiable signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). Cannabinoid type is set largely by a single gene (the THC:CBD ratio); about 96% of commercial flower is Type I, THC-dominant. Terpene profiles are sourced from Certificates of Analysis (COA) and roll out as Areto’s lab-verified data comes online.

Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 50%Sativa 50%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Lebanese Dragon

The mashup of the high-yielding Sangria from Aficionado estates into the very exotic Lebanese Landrace yielded a few amazing specimens. With a decent amount of variety in height, most plants stack quite well with super resinous, fuel flavored, Sangria dominant flowers. About 20% lean heavy towards the Lebanese side features with the plant showing various colorings along with a higher density flower. Special thanks to Tariq for the Lebanese seeds he collected while he was in "At Tiri". This project would not be possible without your help. Flowering time: Indoor: 74-80 days Outdoor: Oct 1st - Oct 15th • Yield: High • THC: 26-28% • CBD: 1% • Terpenes: Fuel, Lavender, Citrus, with Skunky and Ammonia undertones Regular Seeds
