Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the lab-verifiable signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). Cannabinoid type is set largely by a single gene (the THC:CBD ratio); about 96% of commercial flower is Type I, THC-dominant. Terpene profiles are sourced from Certificates of Analysis (COA) and roll out as Areto’s lab-verified data comes online.

Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 30%Sativa 70%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Lemon 18

Lemon 18 from Crockett Family Farms: Lemon Chem x The OG 18 It is a cross between Lemon Chem (Lemon Larry OG Kush x Chemdawg D) and The OG 18, an extremely productive OG Kush selection with acidic overtones. Lemon 18 is a 60/40 Sativa Indica variety, with a clear hybrid appearance that develops flexible branches with medium distance internodes. It benefits from the use of tutors adapting well to SOG and SCROG cultivation. The harvest is ready after about 65-70 days of flowering, with a yield of 500g per m2 in an indoor grow tent, and a yield of up to 600g per plant outdoors. Lemon 18 from Crockett Family Farms, with acid, citric and Kush aroma It produces dense and resinous flowers with a fleshy and hairy appearance. Offers aromas that combine earthy, fuel, spicy, Kush and acidic citric nuances. A variety that provides truly delicious extractions consumed using a resin vaporiser. Lemon 18 produces a large quantity of trichomes and terpenes, providing high returns in Rosin or BHO type extractions. It produces a cerebral, pleasant and relaxing effect, starting with a great psychoactive euphoria that progresses to an intense and long lasting psychedelic stupor. Crockett Family Farms L
