Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). It is a cross between Lemon Chem (Lemon Larry OG Kush x Chemdawg D) and The OG 18, an extremely productive OG Kush selection with acidic overtones. Lemon 18 is a 60/40 Sativa Indica variety, with a clear hybrid appearance that develops flexible branches with medium distance internodes. It benefits from the use of tutors adapting well to SOG and SCROG cultivation. The harvest is ready after about 65-70 days of flowering, with a yield of 500g per m2 in an indoor grow tent, and a yield of up to 600g per plant outdoors.
