Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 70%Sativa 30%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Lemon Apricot

Regular Lemon Apricot seeds by Compound Genetics is the cross between Lemon Jack and Legend Orange Apricot F2. Lemon Jack comes from the cross between a Jack Herer and a Lemon Kush and, in addition to its citrus flavor, it was selected for its fast flowering. Legend Orange Apricot was developed in collaboration with Capulator, a famous American breeder. Of its composition it is only known that it includes the Legend OG and the rest of the parents are kept secret. This variety is very well structured, with strong lateral branches and a large central bud inherited from Jack Herer. It is very interesting to see that although it is a predominant indica variety, its effect has hints of sativa. Don't let her escape. Origin: Lemon Jack x Legend Orange Apricot F2 Genetics: Indica 75% – Sativa 25% THC: 20-25%. CBD: Unknown. External production: 900 gr. Indoor production: 600 gr/m2. Outdoor Flowering: Early October. Indoor flowering: 8-9 weeks. Note: Variety with a sweet apricot aroma with very refreshing citrus touches
