Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 70%Sativa 30%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Lemon Drop Cookies
Lemon Drop Cookies Dark Horse Genetics selected a phenomenally flavorful and resinous Cookies & Cream phenotype bred by Exotic Genetics. Lemon Drop Cookies has a vanilla buttercream frosting and cookie dough aroma on the flower buds. When ground, it releases a wild berry cake and creamy, sharp lemonade scent. Some phenotypes may also develop coffee terpenes in their aroma and flavor. A good candidate for growers with a moderate skill level, Lemon Drop Cookies develops short internode spacing and dense, purple cookie buds that smell like frosted lemon cake. THC levels range from approximately 22–28%. Although it is a hybrid, it leans more toward the Indica spectrum. Yield is above average for a cookie cross, and this variety grows noticeably faster than most cookie crosses. Genetics Cookies & Cream (Lemon Skunk x Alien Kush F2) Type Indica-dominant hybrid
