Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Limón Maracuyá es una variedad hibrida no estabilizada creada por Awka Semillas ®, procedente del cruce de una planta Lemon Fire OG F2 del banco Ralentless Genetics y nuestra Mimosa x Blueberry Muffin.
Por una parte ocupamos como madre receptora un fenotipo de Lemon Fire OG F2, seleccionado por su fuerte aroma con toques cítricos y skunk, entregados por su madre Lemon Skunk y terpenos terrosos provenientes de su padre Fire OG Bx2. Otro factor importante por el cual seleccionamos este fenotipo, es por su vigorosidad, ya que tiende a generar muchas ramas laterales y un crecimiento vegetativo acelerado, entregando flores alargadas con excelente proporción flor/hoja y grandes cantidades de resina.
