When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Limeaçaí
Limeçai (Açai Gelato x Key Limeade) is an absolute beast of a cultivar. The Açai Gelato is from Sherbinski and is highly coveted among the California cannabis community. Açai Gelato aka Gelato #49 adds flavor, frost and amazing growth characteristics to the Key Limeade. At full maturity, the flowers are so deep purple they almost look black underneath the blanket of terpene-rich trichomes.
