Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 30%Sativa 70%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Lionheart

The Lionheart, with its unique spicy smell, and extremely sticky composition is definitely something special. It has a medium yield that is compensated by the highest THC levels. The TRUE sativa high increases with each puff (most put out a joint after a few tokes). It breaks up like hash, but stickier. NOTE: Anyone nearby will get high. Genetics (probably): South African Sativa crossed with "A North American Hybrid" Harvest: 8 weeks Outdoor: End Of September
