About this release
Cultivar: Local Speedway
Type: Sativa-Dominant Hybrid Regular Male/Female
Lineage: Skunk OG (Seedsman) × Local Skunk F3 (Lineage Breakdown: [Skunk #1 x Afghani] × [Local Skunk F3])
Flower Time: ~65-72 days
Stretch: High / Aggressive
Yield: High / Large, Greasy Colas
Aroma: True to its name, this cultivar smells like a day at the races. It is a high-octane blend of burnt rubber, race fuel, and heavy, oily gas. The "skunk" here is aggressive and industrial-full-throttle and unapologetic. While faint citrus undertones can be found in the background, they are largely overtaken by the pungent, "mechanical" stench of the 90s-era Skunk.
Flavor: "Full throttle gas to the face." The smoke is dense and expansive, leaving that trademark oily film on the palate. It tastes of acrid rubber and sulfuric skunk, with a sharp, fuel-injected finish that stays in the back of the throat.
Effects: A high-energy, "Sativa-speedway" experience. Unlike the more sedative 757 Skunk, Local Speedway provides a soaring, electric head high. It is nostalgic for the "true skunk" of the 90s-offering a creative, heart-racing, and talkative buzz that is perfect for daytime use or for anyone looking to get "revved up."
Structure: Classic Sativa-dominant architecture. She grows tall and fast with large, thin-fingered fan leaves and long, spear-shaped colas. The resin is incredibly greasy (rather than sticky), making the buds look like they've been dipped in motor oil.
Grow Notes: This is for the growers who miss the "racy" skunks of decades past. By crossing the community-favorite Seedsman Skunk OG with the Local Skunk F3, we've stabilized a cultivar that combines old-school vigor with modern resin density. She loves to stretch, so be prepared with plenty of vertical space or early training.
