Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 70%Sativa 30%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Loose lucy

Loose Lucy is a cross between a Poison Mimosa f2 male and a resin-coated Starfighter cut. The Starfighter used in this cross finishes quick (56 days) and stretches very little to none. Both parents are very resistant to mold, having been grown and tested several times outside in New England, resisting big temperatures swings in the fall. Depending whether you have a Star Fighter or a Poison Mimosa dominance, the prior will be stretching little to none, displaying tons of resin and really heavy myrcene almost gassy aromas, and the latter will have a nice stretch that will setup for beautiful spears. Both have very fast and vigorous growth with nice branching that will offer heavy resin coated flowers and multiple colors pretty early in most cases. 9/10 overall for the bag appeal, you can expect a nice narcotic effect from these flowers, accompanied by crazy terps: Smells and flavors range from citrus, oranges, candy to rubber and gassy tones
