Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Our gifted Nuken clone hunted from the original release from Cash Crop Ken was pollinated with our stinky and sturdy, GG#4 leaning, Gorilla Bubble Bx4 male from Tony Greens Tortured Beans. The effects are a relaxing, in some cases a sedative, heavy indica high with skunky, funky, coffee and hash flavours.
