Chemotype
Type I
THC-dominant
Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the lab-verifiable signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). Cannabinoid type is set largely by a single gene (the THC:CBD ratio); about 96% of commercial flower is Type I, THC-dominant. Terpene profiles are sourced from Certificates of Analysis (COA) and roll out as Areto’s lab-verified data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Magnetic Marker
Information on Magnetic Marker Magnetic Marker is a feminized, indica-dominant hybrid from G13 Labs, noted for its pungent spicy-diesel and citrus aroma. With 20–25% THC, it delivers an initial wave of euphoria followed by soothing body relaxation. It’s an excellent choice for growers seeking a stable, productive plant with a pronounced terpene profile. Genetics A cross of dessert strains and classic indicas: Permanent Marker (Biscotti x Sherbert x Jealousy) paired with a Do-Si-Dos male. Biscotti and Sherbert bring sweet, pastry-like notes and high potency; Jealousy adds complex terpene layers; Do-Si-Dos reinforces stability, vigor, and resin production. Plants reach 100–120 cm with strong genetic resistance. In cultivation Indoors it flowers in 8–9 weeks, yielding 500–600 g/m². Outdoors it’s ready around late October, producing up to 700–800 g per plant. Leave sufficient vertical space and consider LST, SCROG, or topping to manage heavy buds. Its resistance to pests and diseases makes it accessible for beginners and rewarding for experts alike. Flavor and effect A sweet, creamy core meets acidic citrus and earthy undertones on a gassy, funky base. The effect begins euphoric and st
