Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the lab-verifiable signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). Cannabinoid type is set largely by a single gene (the THC:CBD ratio); about 96% of commercial flower is Type I, THC-dominant. Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Maliglue

Maliglue is an original F1 hybrid from the crossing of a selected Gorilla Glue S1 dam and 5th generation Malawi Gold parents. If you are looking for large numbers of potent blooms of vigorous specimens, look no further. Not only does this produce large, dense buds covered in resin, but it also has a strong spicy and fresh aroma with hints of fruit, depending on the phenotype selected. Maliglue is easy to grow, has good vigor and is ideal for growers looking for a low maintenance line. The use of stakes or another method of support is recommended to avoid breaking the branches at the end of the ripening phase. As for the flowering period, we will have to wait an average of 12 weeks indoors, and until the end of October outdoors. Note: Being a highly vigorous F1 variety, it is recommended to limit growth if grown indoors or we run the risk that the specimens occupy the entire growing space in less time than expected.
