Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 30%Sativa 70%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Mango Piff

Mango Piff is a phenotype of the mango 43. My first ever breeding. Extremely fast flowering piff haze varietal. This clone is long gone now and was lost to hplvd by a former business partner. It has been bred with extensively and imparts an incredible structure. Notes of key limes and mangos with that signature haze background and an intense energetic high.
