When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Marley's Bud
"Collie" is slang for cannabis or ganja in Kingston, Jamaica where Bob Marley is from. These Jamaican ladies were mixed with an Indica relative of the Maple leaf Indica in order to produce a Jamaican hybrid that is high yielding, with dark green, wide fat-bladed leaves, a huge central bud with light side branching, and large pistils shimmering with resin. Marley's Collie is great for the S.O.G. method and does well without topping. It has a fruity smell with a sweet pungent bite and a taste of sweet yet lightly sour fruit.
