Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Mars OG is a clone only strain from California made by the Planetary crew. It is the essence of a rank stank OG embodying HEAVY bar soapy tones, not unlike FIRE OG with more structure to the stems. BUT the potency is outrageous, making it always a top shelf choice. We wanted to make this strain available to the masses and other breeders, so we chose to use our Headband Cookies male to bring this into regular seed form. our Headband Cookies male has been reinforcing the OG Kush dankness while bringing up resin production and increase density - so much so that you could swing it at a puma and knock it out with it.
