Maverick – The female used in this cross was selected personally by Bodhi out of over 100 seeds. Bodhi found the “Queen Mother” cut to be representative of all the best traits of his flagship cultivar, the Goji OG. Goji OG is a three-way cross of the mythical $10K Nepali OG, Afghan Goo, and Blockhead. She is known for high yields, extreme frost, exceptional vigor, and unique terpenes ranging from sugar cookies and goji berries to fuel and hairspray. Goji OG flowers are usually narcotic and mellowing, best for nighttime use. Stardawg pushes the aromatic spectrum further from sweet and closer to acerbic and caustic. Maverick seedlings will express phenotypes leaning heavily toward both parents as well as even balances–we have found the even mixes to be the most desirable. There are Goji-leaning phenotypes that are essentially extra-vigorous versions of the Goji OG. The vigor and ease of growth imparted by the Stardawg onto the already robust Goji OG make for an extremely versatile plant that performs well in a variety of environments. Maverick is a superb choice for commercial growers who do not want to sacrifice on the quality of the product.
